Engineered the refitting of both the 7,200 BHP tug and the 30,000 DWT ocean tank barge with the Intercon system. This unit is still in service today and is slated for refit with a double-hull. The tug LIBERTY is currently working with a modified INTERCON system for lightering which we also engineered – see below. Provision of a full FEA study for the connection-related structure on both the tug and barge for an East Coast shipping company.
